Satellite-driven insights for crops, climate & hazards.
I help governments, NGOs, and organisations turn satellite imagery and climate data into decision-ready maps, dashboards, and analytics — with a special focus on agriculture and climate risk in Pakistan and the wider region.
Practical, project-ready geospatial services — from crop area estimation to climate impact assessment and hazard mapping. Tailored to your region, dataset and goals.
Crop Mapping & Area Estimation
District- and province-level wheat, rice and maize area estimation using Sentinel, Landsat and MODIS imagery, calibrated with official statistics where available.
Climate & Yield Impact Analysis
Advanced econometric modeling (including ARDL and panel methods) to quantify how temperature, rainfall and emissions affect cereal yields over time.
Glacier & Hazard Risk Mapping
Multi-sensor analysis (DEM, MODIS, Sentinel-1/2) to map snow and ice dynamics, avalanche-prone slopes and potential hazard zones in high-mountain regions.
Custom Web Maps & Dashboards
Interactive Google Earth Engine apps and web dashboards to visualise crops, climate indicators or hazard indices for decision makers.
Data Cleaning & Geospatial Analytics
Integrating satellite-based indicators with production statistics, climate variables and emissions into analysis-ready datasets.
Training & Capacity Building
Hands-on training for teams in Google Earth Engine and geospatial workflows, tailored to your projects and level of experience.
A few examples of how satellite data and climate analytics have been used in real projects. Full case studies can be shared on request.
Wheat–Climate Impact Assessment (2004–2030)
Combined crop statistics, satellite-derived climate indicators and emissions data to estimate long- and short-term impacts of climate variability on district-level wheat yields.
Rice Area Estimation via NDVI/NDWI Curves
Used Landsat and Sentinel-2 NDVI/NDWI time series with agro-climatic zoning to detect rice areas, improving estimates beyond conventional reporting.
Snow & Glacier Hazard Zonation (Baltoro–Siachen)
Integrated DEM-derived slope, snow cover change and satellite backscatter to identify zones with elevated avalanche and melt-related hazard.
A simple, transparent project flow that takes you from an idea or problem to concrete maps, analytics and recommendations.

GIS and remote sensing specialist focused on agriculture, climate change and glacier hazards, with extensive experience across Pakistan’s provinces and high-mountain regions.
I work at the intersection of remote sensing, climate science and applied statistics. Using tools such as Google Earth Engine, ArcGIS, QGIS, Python and advanced econometric models, I build workflows that turn large volumes of satellite and climate data into practical insights for decision makers.
My work includes long-term crop–climate analyses, district-level crop area estimation, and glacier hazard studies in some of the most data-sparse regions. I collaborate with government agencies, research teams and projects that need reliable, technically robust geospatial evidence.
Share a few details about your project or idea and I will get back to you with questions or a suggested way forward.
